Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Duck Collector is an unofficial fan project. These terms explain how the site operates, how we respect Pokémon-related intellectual property, and what you can expect when you use the service.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Duck Collector, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our privacy notice and cookie notice describe how we handle personal data and browser storage.

Unofficial service / no affiliation

Duck Collector is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo Co., Ltd., Game Freak Inc., Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Company International, Inc., or any of their affiliates or licensees. All Pokémon-related names, logos, characters, artwork, card imagery, and other assets used or referenced on this site are trademarks and/or copyrights of their respective owners.

We do not claim ownership of any Pokémon or Pokémon Trading Card Game content. Our use is solely to help fans identify cards and manage personal collections in a non-commercial, informational context.

Public information & third-party content

Card listings, images, attributes, and related metadata on Duck Collector may be compiled from publicly available sources, open datasets, community contributions, or other third parties. Such materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

Portions of the site may be viewable without an account; features that store your collection require sign-in. Whether content appears publicly or only to you, nothing on this site implies that Pokémon intellectual property has become free to use or that Duck Collector is an official Pokémon product.

Copyright & fair use

Like many independent reference and collector communities, we rely on limited use of Pokémon-related material for purposes such as identification, commentary, and fan scholarship. Where applicable, we believe this may qualify as fair use under U.S. law (for example, Title 17 U.S. Code Section 107), and under analogous doctrines in other jurisdictions.

If you are a rights holder and believe any content should be removed or amended, contact us using the notice process below. We take good-faith concerns seriously.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Duck Collector (for example, by attempting to disrupt the service, scrape it in ways that violate applicable law or our infrastructure limits, or use it to imply an association with The Pokémon Company or Nintendo).

You are responsible for any content you submit (such as collection notes or admin-entered card data, where applicable) and must have the rights or permission needed to provide it.

Disclaimer of warranties

Duck Collector is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that information about cards (including rarity, legality, pricing, or completeness) is accurate, complete, or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duck Collector and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Copyright notices & takedown requests

If you own rights in material appearing on Duck Collector and believe its use is not authorized, please send a detailed notice including: identification of the work, identification of the material on our site, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner (consistent with applicable law, such as the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act where relevant).

Route your notice through contact details published in this project's public repository or hosting profile, or another reasonable channel the operators provide for legal inquiries. We will evaluate complete, valid requests promptly and may remove or restrict content when appropriate.
