Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. Display ads may appear on catalogue and related pages.
- Contextual / non-personalized ads may load without an extra opt-in. These use the page content rather than a profile built from your personal data for targeting.
- Personalized ads load only if you accept optional features in the banner (or enable them below). That choice updates Google Consent Mode so advertising storage and personalization signals may be used.
Google may set or read cookies and process data under Google's advertising policies and privacy policy.
Optional — social embeds (Instagram)
Duck of the Week can load Instagram's embed script (instagram.com/embed.js) and related frames only if you accept optional embeds. If you choose "Necessary only", we show links to Instagram instead of loading that script.
When the embed runs, Instagram/Meta may set or read cookies and process data under their own terms and privacy policy (see Meta's policies).
